    Hi there,

I hope this is the right place!

I'm on Win Vista Home 32, attempting to custom install to Win 7 Home 64 (My system is capable of supporting it.)

I downloaded the file, and am attempting to run the file Win7-HP-retail-ea-us-x64 and every time I try it tells me:

"We are unable to create or save new files in the folder in which this application was downloaded. Please check the folder properties to make sure that you have security permission on the folder to write files and that the folder is not read-only"

Well, I had downloaded the files to an empty partition on my hard drive, and got those errors. I went and removed the read only from the files I downloaded, and I'm getting the same errors. i went and moved the files to a different hard drive, same result.

I'm running out of ideas....and yes, I am on an administrator account :)

Thanks for any suggestions! If not, I guess it's a good thing I ordered the disc too.
