Dude, looks like you don't know what is or how to configure a WSUS server. You can create groups in which you put the computers you want to update, step by step for a totally controlled deployment in your network. You should learn how it works this will avoid you to look like a fool.
That only applies if it's a WSUS client. Not everyone uses WSUS. Which would be why Microsoft blocked the upgrade for machines on a domain.
I hardly believe that wouldn't be change at RTM or shortly after! In real, it makes no sense for to miss out such function, but within Alpha/Beta because of to many changes ahead of RTM! Such discussion are maybe pointless at Beta Time, firstly have to see that will be also a missing part at RTM or shortly after! So, let see what will come on June 29. 2015!!
That's a lot of IF and PROBABLY....that's why i'm a little bit affraid, i don't want to have a suprise especially 2 days before going on vacation. Seeing the update in WSUS, and being able to block it would be great.
well so i guess that i'll have to change my WSUS rules and only allow security updates to avoid bad surprises. We'll see later for an easy way to deploy the update.
The only bad surprise is that you wake up and find all computers are installed with windows 10 Enterprise edition wich would be free for an Year maybe and then you have to pay big time
No that will be the good surprise if it installs without any trouble. Who can bet it will install without problem ? not me...
