Microsoft is adding features people are asking for and yet they still whine. Yes that image shows a desktop style right-click menu on the Start screen. That doesn't mean it will be like that when using it with a touchscreen. An option for the keyboard and mouse users. I guarantee when using it on a touchscreen it'll do exactly the same thing it does in 8.1 now. It just seems like Microsoft can't win at all with some people when it comes to Windows 8. How much you want to bet that if they added a start menu and the ability to use Modern apps on the desktop, making all of it optional also, people would still complain. I can see it now: "OMG the Start Menu is back, but these Modern Apps don't look right in running in a windows on the desktop. You should move the taskbar and Start Menu to the Start Screen" Microsoft would do that then: "OMG these desktop apps on the Start screen are ugly"
pop up menus like in the given pics will only be present when using a mouse. Running a touch screen everything will be as usual in new updated OS
Yes, all 8.1 update 1 builds will have build number 9600.*, Windows 9 builds have a higher build number.
They don't compile builds in the weekend unless on a strict time schedule. And Windows 9 is not on such tight schedule. Beside, Windows 9 was till in the planning/concept for that moment. The actual development started around the RTM of 8.1. What/who is the source of this one?
as long as there is no valid source available from our "friend" I will not believe a single bit of his posts, period
