Any Win 10 tweaks for changing the volume control to move in increments of 1 instead of 2 with the mouse scroll wheel or keyboard volume buttons?
Any Windows 10 tweak for disabling the lock screen, i.e performing the following register hack : [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Personalization] "NoLockScreen"=dword:00000001
I just decided to try this on one of my newer laptops and it's a real nice program. Very convenient, for sure.
Yes, Lock Screen in Windows 10 Anniversary Update version 1607 can be disabled with the solution using a scheduled task, but it can be disabled now with an official reg hack.
Which is the best version for LTSB? As LTSB is not moving at the same pace as other builds would an older version of Winaero be a better fit?
@hb860 Excellent Tool... Please consider including "Copy to Folder" and "Move to Folder" to the Context Menu section options...
Sure, I will do. I am working on a new version of context menu collection in the tweaker, it will appear there. I hope to finish it soon.
I finally decided to make the move to Windows 10. And the amount of settings that are buried in hidden menus within the OS is staggering! This app is a must have, it made Windows 10 much more well behaved. I love the the ability to export/import settings, great job man!
@hb860 For whatever reason, the Classic Sticky Notes application is failing to execute on Windows 10 1809 (17763.1). It almost makes me wonder if this is one more step of Microsoft pushing us toward Universal Apps in a more forceful manner. Anyway, so far I have tried setting OS Compatibility for Windows 7, Windows 8, but had no luck preventing the crash. I will try some more testing and let you know if I can figure anything out.
