unable to download this great tool..... every time it shows following error " Unknown compression method"
You're downloaded this is file OK ? The problem is with your decompressor, please use WINRAR or 7Zip .
i tried with 7zip, winzip pro 15.5 and winrar but every time i got an error msg " Unknown compression method" this is not the first time this error occurred. when i tried to download version 1.1 i got same msg then i download it from softpedia server and that file worked like a charm plz make a mirror link if it is ok with you however i must says this tool is fantastic
Ok, the problem isn't with Download Link Is with your compressor I'll make compressions with 7z in LZMA instead of LZMA2 ...
All items in the server re-uploaded with 7z LZMA Compression instead of LZMA2, improving the compatibility Please try again
I am still trying to get an AiO to work with EFI installations. If someone can get this "x64 Recovery [EMS]" to work, then EFI will also work. The issue I am having is that Windows Setup cannot find the proper drivers. No matter what I do, I get the message to insert my driver media disc. It is obviously a side effect of creating an AiO disc, but there should be a way around this. Ideas?
I have been trying to create an AIO Windows Vista ISO, I get a successful burn to DVD but when I get near the end of the verifying stage I keep getting a device error using PowerISO, now normally I would say my drive is done in but I know 100% that is isn't, as I have tried this on 3 different machines and get same error...... Now that isn't a coincidence LOL Now doing it with Windows 7 it works no problem at all, so does anyone know if there is an issue in creating an AIO Vista ISO? Thanks EDIT!! I had just tried it again only this time it worked..... I was doing it wrong with vista for some odd reason, I wasn't selecting "create AIO Wim" instead I was selecting the "AutoAIO" and that's why it wasn't working properly. ;-)
I was under the impression that this was for Windows 7 only? Can you confirm Josh that this will work for Vista? Thanks.
Well if it wasn't meant to work with Vista I can now confirm it does, I have 11 in 1 Vista Installation DVD I will try post an image but I don't think I have made enough posts just yet though....
Windows Vista is compatible more : 1) - Not compatible with x64 recovery mode 2) - Not touch the boot code 3) - EFI Mode isn't compatible with x64 recovery mode [ W7 ]
I am on my way to getting x64 and EFI installation mode working. I am rusty on my C/C++.. I need to create a program similar to lunch.exe, but I am not sure about the simplest way to go about it.
Yes why? I already have AIO Vista DVD's and Win7 AIO DVD's my brother and my uncle are and were professional corporate I.T guys and they passed on quite a lot of things, which comes in very handy at times. I just wanted to see if this worked with Vista I haven't tried the other DVD that I selected the X64 Recovery Mode but as the ISO was building it showed that it was including the X64 Rec Mode into the build.... But like I said haven't tried it yet, but I will take your word for it. Excellent piece of software anyway! Thanks
