Want to share here from my experience I help someone that has a communication problem with Fanuc based controller CNC machine The problem was every time it say wrong data and stop sending ( using windnc) So end up with a change profolink s**t driver and manual change to basic serial driver Problem solved The problem is every time you connect a USB serial 9 pin, it identifies it as proof** s**t, Reason .. don't know yet.
