The OP is angry and rightly so. Nobody chose to install LTSB because of lack of updates, they chose it for less spying elements. Why should we miss out on updates because we do not want to be spied on by MS?
LTSB is all about not getting "New Features" that is the entire point of the OS. It is designed for mission critical systems that cannot have "Features" or changes that could compromise their system. As we all know, one "little" change in software can cause all kinds of cluster's to a system. LTSB is the answer to that. Security updates sure, but features might not be added for 10 years

Do you have a official ms source to show? For office use, maybe, for consumers no. Home or Pro are the versions which most consumers will get if they update (for free) Not very smart because they also have a need to experience what most consumers experience, maybe on their workstation they'll use LTSB (because the boss doesn't want them to play during workhours ) You realize the majority of users in the world are non MSDN member/befriended? Home and Pro are legit thru Digital Entitlement and will do just fine for normal home users. KMS will also be updated/developped for future use. Grtz, Enthousiast
