you can mount and run setup. i have done it like this. setup copies all files from dvd and then it doesnt need the virtual dvd anymore.
Maybe I should make my point clearer?! The fact is: I'm (as person and Owner of a Service Company) under permanent surveillance of an organization called BSA (Business Software Alliance) after being sued for use of unlicensed software with a court case and fined for that! The Engineers of BSA are not just checking the Licenses, they also checking the integrity of copyrighted materials, include software and their single files. For that, they're using the Checksums of files tested! Enough info for to understand my point? I don't think so, seeing the replies on this forum, claiming that the use of SVF files are legal, which I think, from experiences, isn't! Last time I were get checked by BSA, 4½ month ago, they're deleted a bunch of MS files from my system because of not matching the Checksums of their listing. After explaining to them that those were SVF patched original files, they're stated that those isn't a legal way and not allowed on local and many others countries copyright law. I don't mind what others are doing, for my own (person and company) I do mind about to stay to the law after I had to pay a heavy fine in the past already and being still under surveillance! What the representatives (in this case: Court and BSA) are telling to me, is much more important than any member of an online forum would/could ever tell or explain to me. Have a nice weekend!

Sorry to hear that Pisthai BSA is ignorant of that delta is and its uses, MS uses it themselves (even created their own version/algo of delta compression). Sadly BSA needs to get a clue. Delta compression is very much legal. However you need to follow their lead or get a cane to your back door. Damned shame!
Thanks. Unfortunate, BSA is closely working with the Thai Government and the fines are heavy (for Thailand)! Even a try to solve with them directly, ends up more expensive as on Court!! What they had offered at that time, were 30% higher than the Fine together with the Court Fee!! Anyway, didn't like to come to the 'Game' again!!
Spoiler No need to make your point clearer! Much less talking about legal stuff about software. You said in your previous posts SFV patches yield FRANKENBUILDS! And you stated that as a general condition of SFV/delta compression. Then I and all others that replied to you said you are WRONG! Yes you are wrong buddy, ok? Of course a wrong crafted SFV patch could yield a corrupted iso file / corrupted SHA-1 resulting in a defective iso file. And by wrong crafted I mean to say someone mistakenly took the wrong files to produce the svf patch or something (very rare) went wrong with the delta compression process. Of course most of the time SFV patches hashes match M$ original ones. Resulting in an original iso file. These are true facts about this matter technically speaking. Then you come with legal stuff and the like and your personal experiences in your country, etc. but that's another story. Conclusion: you are technically wrong about the statements in your previous posts ergo SFV patches are a blessing and frankly we don't care about legal stuff with respect to delta compression. @CiTRAX I apologize for spoiling your thread with this discussion but it was brought right here by pisthai and it needs to be cleared up to avoid confusion and FUD worst case about SVF patches for anyone who can read these lines and posts.

The only things what's counting for me are the legal stuff! If YOU don't mind about that, that's simply up to you! The simple fact is, the law in the country I'm living, is those I've to care about! Period! You make your point (clear) stating that YOU (and other because you extended your view to all others, which is simply very, very wrong) don't care about legal stuff! That's fine and maybe allowed in your country, which I really think it is! So, leave it by that: YOU go YOUR way and I go my way, which is, for me, the safer one!
