I suppose not everyone can afford it and while I have a 1TB SSD on the laptop, the Data partition on it is close to being full, although I use about 30% OP (for maximising the random write performance) and as such I could find more space if space becomes very critical. I think finding methods to free more space within reason and not impacting the functionality are still useful in these days of relatively cheap storage.
I have never had a Laptop, but what I do have is a 4 Bay Tower Desktop with 4 1 TB HDD's so Space is not a big concern to me.
Cute . 14 TB here and need much much more ... as NAS (with RAID 10 !!!). Then i can host the SVF Repo from there and the SVF tool gets more options (everything needed with unlimitted speed). Windscribe offers the option to get an industry standatd hosting for 5 €/month .
yes. it's actually not agressive at all, takes 5ms to check if physical memory free is less than target, and quits if it's not. Otherwise clears the standbylists via winapi call (very fast). was meant for standby memory bug while gaming when free ram goess to 0 so thats why is set to 512mb by default and why I recommended it increased
