This is possibly related to the menu selection issue that exists since most likely Vista. Vista and later, IIRC, is picky when selecting stuff, it often and possibly randomly fails to accept that you left clicked to select an object first, the most obvious, is when a person wants to check the file properties, but, that person, gets the desktop settings options menu or a menu for other system options instead.
It's not present in previous builds nor in the next major new release 20H1. It's a bug in 1909 specifically.
confirmed that after the “feature update to windows 10 version 1909 via enablement package (KB4517245)” it’s no longer possible to copy-paste to the search box present in folders (upper right corner) using the mouse, the right click is completely disabled. For now I’ve removed the (KB4517245)… Microsoft has been informed and it appears that many people who installed the update have the same problem.
We know https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ile-explorer-search-issue.80465/#post-1555563 CTRL+V works.
The first two methods mentioned in this tutorial don't work anymore but the third one, clear search history from the Registry still works.
It's working for me. I think ccleaner also can do it. About the registry, I think better not use it a lot, because it can slow you computer.
Yes, this is a strange one. For some have the new search on updated or clean installations of 1909 and some do not (such as me). There appears to be no rhyme nor reason behind it that I can discern. Truly puzzling.
18362.1 Otherwise, will there be an app, in the same kind as mach2, for disabled Immersive Menu (right click)?
