Having some issues here. We use MDT to deploy Windows 10 installs onto new systems. All the new systems are purchased with Windows 10 Pro OEM and keys are in the BIOS. Installing our Windows 10 image onto the systems BEFORE running the OEM OOBE process, pulling the key from the bios - Windows will not activate. Our Windows 10 deployments WILL activate if we complete the OEM OOBE first, reboot then image. This leads me to conclude that the OOBE process somehow pairs the key with the hardware and allows it for activation. This is a pain when trying to image multiple systems and time is of the essence. I've tried Ctrl+Shift+F3 to enter Audit mode, but it appears activation isn't permissible in Audit mode. So we're stuck - complete OOBE, manually remove the preinstalled crapware and install our own stuff seems to be the best option at the moment. It's important this all be kept legal. Any tips? Thanks.
