You prolly selected the option to keep apps when you upgraded? Now you can just enter the generic HWID key for pro and it should show: "Activated with a Digital License"
So what if you have 3 new workstations, all 10. You configure one then clone it to the other 2. The first one was activated. Now the other two will not. How do you activate if you don't have the original activation Serial Numbers or Keys? HELP!
Keeping the apps will also keep the autopico running. For just establishing a HWID i always select: keep nothing.
@mkuba50 posted a dirty trick in Yen's thread, but i seems to give problems with licenses of pre-installed UWP apps.
You have slightly misunderstood what I have written. I meant that applications installed by user will lose license, but actually I were wrong. I have tested the case with additional installed apps. Windows creates copy of all needed licenses in XML files for preinstalled apps. Applications installed by user are not stored in ClipSVC, because removing tokens.dat does not affect them.
Yup, it has to be a shadow of tokens that's restored - both ClipSVC and SPP - question is where is that BLOB?
because using KMS_VL_ALL allows to get renewal activation automatically without the need of activating manually once the grace period is finished and that's what KMS_VL_ALL does perfectly.
ClipSVC Code: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\ClipSVC\Archive\Apps GenuineTicket.xml is renamed with UUID and placed here by Windows after applying it. SPPSVC Code: C:\Windows\System32\spp\tokens That's my guess.
I've got a laptop that came with win 10 home. Has an MSDM key that I'm guessing is stored in UEFI. It also has OEM SLIC 2.1 bios so it'll auto activate to win 7 pro for me. I've tried USB/DVD/medai creator tool upgrade and every time I go that route, it says it wants to upgrade me to win 10 home even though I'm currently on win 7 sp1 pro. On my other computers without the MSDM key, I was able to go SLIC 2.1 OEM activation win 7 sp1 pro -> win 10 pro upgrade. Was hoping to get that working on this laptop but I'm not having much luck. What am I missing here?
In that case create an ISO and put an ei.cfg file in \sources\ folder with following content: Code: [EditionID] Professional [Channel] Retail [VL] 0 Then use it to do the upgrade,
