So I was just looking at this white color boring windows in win10. I found a color theme than can change the white color windows. But I really like the Aero glass transparent windows. Is this fix available for win10 yet and can we adjust the transparency in start menu and bar?

I've recently installed Windows 7 (to get the free upgrade) and was amazed at how beautiful it was compared to the versions that followed it. Thicker window borders, curved corners, 3D recessed effect, etc. Has anyone found a way to get that look in Windows 10? I don't mind the 'flat' look when I'm running my laptop on battery, but when I'm plugged in, I want the eye-candy.

hi. when I install it, it works for couple minutes then stops. while installing theres two options to select. I don't select any of them. should I? I also have selected my own pictures to use as a slideshow on my desktop. so that may be an issue? any input you have on it would be appreciated. thanks.

I'm going to assume you installed v1.3.1 but you didn't install the debug version

I had that happen to me where when a new window spawns the aero hook fails

You have to download the debug version from glass8.eu and to install that

    Open taskmgr

Then kill aero host.exe and dwm.exe

Then copy the debug files to the aero glass install directory which is usually c:\aeroglass

Then open task scheduler and find the aero task start it or log off and log back on for the changes to take effect
