Although we've to log all LAN and WAN connection in full extend for 6 month and need to provide those to the authorities if asked for that! Regarding the SKU of WMC in Windows 8 and 8.1, I had to download them via Store and they were not part of the WIM in the original ISO's from 8 and 8.1! I talking just about the Original ISO files as delivered by Microsoft and not any downloaded from MDL, Torrent or whatsoever! To be precise and clear, I'm not interested in any Home build product! I don't mind what others do, I just keep my own "house" clean. Could you accept that?! Thanks.
Thanks for that. According to what you wrote, the 9841 build is still an (let say: extended) Windows 8.1? Even MS has changed the Kernel of the now called Windows 10 (TP) to an new one? As I was like to use the WMC on an new install of 8.1, I was need to download via Store, it were neither on the DVD nor the ISO file from MS! I'm sorry but I was nearly 3 month in Hospital and just back a few day's and have not much time to get with all up to date, so I missed quite a lot the last about 11-12 weeks. Although I'm still not in my office yet, just at home with less computer etc. available at the time. Thanks.
To much crap for so simple thing, where you live guys?! Offline upgrading of the image is not illegal! What files for WMC you looking for? -They are in WinSxS... do you expect setup.exe?! Nevermind. From inside on already installed Windows 10 TP (you need Win10's DISM) (virtual machine or real hardware whatever) Extract ISO to c:\w10 and put this commands on it: 1.) DISM.exe /Export-Image /SourceImageFile:c:\w10\sources\install.wim /SourceIndex:1 /DestinationImageFile:c:\pro.wim 2.) DISM.exe /Mount-Wim /WimFile:C:\pro.wim /index:1 /MountDir:C:\mount 3.) DISM.exe /image:c:\mount /Set-EditionrofessionalWMC 4.) DISM.exe /Unmount-Wim /MountDir:C:\mount /commit Now rename pro.wim to install.wim and overwrite to C:\w10\sources. Remove pid.txt - that key don't match with your new sku (it is for consumer/core edition only). And from C:\w10 make a new bootable ISO. - Name it: W10TP ProWMC. End of story. p.s. This commands are legit - can be used on server editions to, they are here for a reason, and they are also well documented on MS sites, also in DISM itself. p.p.s. And also ProWMC sku is not part of the official Windows 10 TP and the Insider program, so it is not supported and wouldn't be automatically activated after installation.
for the love of god can someone share a link to the aio they created. i dont have the time to download the adk and do this stuff now and would really appreciate a link to download.. btw i know how to search an used it.. it brings me to this thread with no freeaking download link. some guy asked earlier and everyone had to feel like they needed to critize him.. if dumb fu would have shared the link then i wouldnt be posting this now..
This is true as I was able to create a AIO usually basically the same instructions as Windows 8 except to change the name and use Windows 10 TP Dism. This was before I saw your post about how you got it and that's even faster. Thanks for your work, just ignore the other comments, they just want everyone to do the work for them.
