This problem never happened to me in Windows 8. I run a game in fullscreen and if I ALT+TAB to the desktop and then try to maximize back into the game...nothing happens. It just stays on the desktop and I can't get back into the game. The game doesn't crash, but I can't maximize back in. A solution I found is (if the game supports it) to run the game in Maximized (Fullscreen) or Windowed Fullscreen mode. This is a problem for certain games though because it breaks DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution). Does anyone else have another fix for this problem?
