For accuracy, I just re-installed an ESD system and found the Applicability is of the very same for both of them.

It is exact same as 1024 ESD which proves OEM are indeed installing 1024 on new PCs.

Assuming this ISO is indeed from an OEM... (I hope it really is, but who knows)

What means BuildLabelEx ? Does it means such type of build has not been compiled ?

The last time that they compiled a build is 10/07/2015 07:32:45. 10240.16384.150709-1700.th1
Now they are working on th2 mostly.

It seems that this is our RTM and we will just receive daily updates as we had 2 days ago, which actually changed the build number.

Now I am looking forward to first th2 leak.

Or I think after 29th of July, they will just make th2 branch available to insiders and we will receive beta builds as we have been getting.

mine is the most up to date insider iso too and i have 10240.16390.amd64fre.th1_st1.150714-1601, so for this new one to say 1700 seems odd. I have all the latest updates installed.

any idea on how to update to windows 10 from 8.1 with a different language without losing apps and settings? I already tried installing the en-us language pack and changing everything to english inside control panel, but it doesn't work

So the telemetry is in this thing too? hmm... makes sense I guess.
    Got too excited :(

We'll have to investigate some more. It could be one of those processes that's got its tendrils in everything.

No because 16391 only comes from adding the friday night updates, this is exactly what we thought would happen. OEMs are building with the same thing we got and there will be a bunch of 0 day patched downloaded the first time the buyer turns on his new machine. That doesn't mean there won't be a final ISO cut but 10240 is still the base for it. Assuming this is real of course.

According to arseny the updates get integrated into downloaded Upgrade before it executes (if the machine is online).

Makes perfect sense. BTW, I finally noticed that happening yesterday when I did a upgrade and it asked if I wanted to check for updates, for once I said yes and this time it took awhile. When I went to WU after the install it didn't find any and now I know why.
