The PCBeta guy is in my trusted list, had uploaded a number of legit and original stuffs, e.g. the MS lang pack for win8.1, and some Office stuffs, couldn't remember. His DISM was done on a Russian Windows.

Actually there have been img before with win 8. They came from people lifting the img from VHD I believe at places where win 8 was being show cased before different releases.
MS, correct, but who knows which image formats that individual OEMs use. This may still fall more in line with homebrew. Not MS authentic. But certainly possible OEM authentic. Although I am not sure how that fares by MDL rules.
