Apologize. It's cause I was using the mobile version of mdl and I couldn't find the option. Just got back to my laptop and thanked him for the post
Incidentally I am not sure why people who want to do a clean install are so worried about upgrading...the tool for a clean install is already there. Upgrade from the WU ESD. Settings, update & security, recovery, advanced start up, reboot now, reset this pc to factory. That is also a clean install.
So... I got bored again and once again updated Win7 Pro on this XPS 8500 to this build. Update might have been bit slower this time but still turned out well. Even got a new App installed during the upgrade; it's called Dell Welcome to Windows 10.
For that reason all Win 8 systems i was asked to maintain, in first step got an up-to-date Win 8.1 fresh MSDN install without any branding. Thankfully non of the 'Bloat-Crap', they even dare to call usefull software, is needed for activation.
Here's some of the "gifts" that Dell wanted to install on my new rig. I didn't install any of them, and things are working just fine. Dell also installs an OEM version of PC Doctor. They call it Dell Support Center Program. Check your Control Panel.
Anyone can download and install that dell app from the store Just search dell in apps lol. Why someone would actually want it another thing.
