The upgrade works great for me, waiting to clean install on 29th or whenever I get ESD, you as insider can get ISO on Insiders Homepage, but I don't know if it's Midnight on 28 Jul or soon there after The build number may change, but who knows what they have in store for us, I like this format better than ESD
if you get that Dell.Virus.Win64.Variant.w10.10240 you'll end up suddenly with a ton of bloatware on your machine, norton internet security 30 day, cyberlink trials, norton online backup, dell's junkware.. .the list goes on! best start a virus scan immediately before your computer slows to a crawl!!!!
So ,far there are only two 'Releases', the ESDs delivered via WU or MDL MIRRORS and the OEM IMG, both are 16384. I wouldn't keep my hopes too high for an ISO release at GA, if then it might be still 16384..
No, I have a retail key In fact have 2 Dell XPS that I mainly use, but retail keys for both, these things are a bit pricy but last a long time.
I have Windows 8 on both PC(Legit copy, have serial number stickered on the tower) and a laptop(Also windows 8 but registered it with phone activation) are all final versions OEM or should I wait either way til July 29th..I want to do a clean install on both computers
Yes, that would mean you would upgrade to Win 10 Home, this image has Home/Pro so it will work for you but you must have sp1 installed, do you. In fact go to windows updates and install all recomended updates It's OEM right
I had to use that chkdsk trick u gave me to install it over windows 7 Cause before I was getting bsod It took an hour and a half but no problem Thanks bud
