Sorry for the stupid question everyone But what are the editionId and product name for Windows 10 pro in registry Is it pro or professional Thanks in advance
so you upgraded from 10240 to 10240. my only question is whether the key changed when you were done...
This is a different setup to the clean install.wim of 10240. Both home or pro to install, no activation on local account, no login screen and search bar instead of the search icon on taskbar .. oh and no percentage indicators on install setup.

1. It never asked for key as I upgraded and saved everything, so no I doubt key changed, I was more worried about activation and wanted to see if it would save that, it did, its alot faster than the 10240 I had on, well the whole thing is quicker, I'm just playing till 29th It put right OS on mine PRO
It must be as it is quicker all around, even in this limited time, everything seems fine, if OEM's were going to put on new computers that alone should tell you this is the STUFF.
I ran several speed tests - faster, the whole thing is faster or quicker. Man this is crazy just ran sfc /scannow=no programs after upgrade, saving everything
its rare you ever do any form of reinstall or upgrade install and it isn't faster than your previous install, things seem to get slower as time goes on on any windows install.
Good on you. Have a good time with Windows 10. I need to dig into the potential new languages. See you.
But xinso mentioned that the .IMG file is actually the same as the ESDs we downloaded. How come the new install is faster?
Before you go, is there a way to compare the img and esd, bit by bit, to make sure everything is identical, or different?
this is nuts. I am going to install this over my insider now and check before and after keys. see you in an hour
