So if I used KMSPico on Windows 8.1 Pro, it would be better to install Windows 7 with loader and upgrade from that, instead of my current system ?
heres what im doing: laptops with legit real windows 7 home premium - I have used windows loader to convert these laptops to windows 7 ultimate - all pass windows activation, currently using win 10 install tools to update these systems, once the upgrade completes I will then do a FRESH install from win 10 isos - giving me full windows 10 pro activated laptops. pc running win 7 ultimate, windows loader (slic mother board) has always showed as activated - currently have the win 10 flag in the notification area (windows 10 has downloaded and is currently waiting for me to hit the upgrade button) this has been the easiest upgrade ever to windows 10, everything works fine and looks like will always stay activated - thank you Microsoft for the free upgrades to windows 10 on all my machines, also thanks to the windows loader guys for making it so easy to upgrade my legal win 7 laptops to ultimate causing me to get windows 10 pro on all my laptops.
now listening to music via YouTube on windows 10 pro, install took 1 hour 7 mins, just currently configuring it to my own personal settings - fully activated,, about to proceed and do it all over again on laptop number 2!
So how much of a change to the hardware will alter the HWID? On a laptop, everything is pretty much fixed (except RAM), but on a desktop everything is replacable. A defect mainboard, a RAM upgrade, a CPU upgrade, GPU, HDD replacement, etc.. will consitute a change in hardware. If MS insists on attaching a license to a machine, that will be a headache for any hardware upgrade! >.<
Win7 > Win10 upgrade makes it permanantly activated, or at least that's what slmgr -xpr reports. W8.1 KMS activated > Win10 upgrade actually also makes it permanantly activated, or at least that's what slmgr -xpr reports. Fresh install and KMS activation is only valid for 180 days at a time and is prone to getting killed if Microsoft decides to suddenly upgrade KMS to the next version.
so if i had clean install and act via kms it is only for 180 days aa we must waiting for new activator by DAZor another activator
I have changed countless items over the years, the only item that causes issues is changing the mother board.
Kinda off topic, but Could I use murphy78's Windows 7 ISOs, activate it with Daz Windows Loader, then upgrade to Windows 10 and will still be activated after I clean installed it? Thanks!
The following did not work for me: - Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 installed with Daz loader (always worked fine and was activated). - Upgrade to Windows 10 -> not activated and could not activate. So I used the Microsoft Toolkit which worked fine. Settings I used with the Daz loader back then: - SLIC: Gigabyte - Certificate: Gigabyte - Key: Dell (Ultimate) I didn't touch the advanced tab and clicked on "Install" on the "Installation" tab.
FYI No key is ever needed, even after a successful upgrade. The key is the same for everyone, it is not unique.
KMS has always been 180 days, that is how MS designed KMS activation. That is why Microsoft Toolkit, KMSpico etc ensure it rarely if ever goes below 179 days. They get scheduled to keep your activation on every reboot or every so many hours etc. But you can always do the activation manually as well, 180 days = 6 months. That is 2 times a year you do it manually or set it with one of the tools above and don't bother with it, they will take care of it.
I had original OEM (Core) Windows 8.1 on my laptop, but in Win 10 Core is handicapped over 9000. So I disabled some settings in UEFI (that have to do with auto Windows activation), Installed PRO 8.1, used DAZ Loader, let it update after, and now I have Activated Win 10 PRO. So if anybody else is having problems switching to pro on OEM laptop with Core, you just have to change a few settings in UEFI, that have to do with auto activation (depends on model, UEFI type and options... check manual or Google). Windows 10 Core is handicapped beyond reason for an 'advanced' user. If they fix rape update, I'll gladly go back to Core.
1. What is Windows 10 Pro-Core? What's the difference? 2. I have Windows 7 Ultimate. Can upgrade to Windows 10 Enterprise though GWX prompt me to download Pro version. 3. Is there a original Windows 10 Enterprise edition? 4. Is it true that Enterprise edition is expiring after 90 days? 5. Is there successful solution to control Automatic Updates on Home/Pro? (Not that tool MS released)
Guys, a quick question, if I may. I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 7 Pro (which I activated via a slic-modded bios) and Windows 10 activated itself quickly after the upgrade. So far so good, but I also installed Office 2013 and activated it via KMSPico (latest beta). My question here is if KMSPico will in some negative way affect the initial Windows 10 activation after the upgrade, have I "overridden" the Windows upgrade activation with KMSPico?
