1. Probably Pro and Core in same iso 2. Enterprise edition cant be upgraded for free 3. Yes 4. Yep, a 90 day trial 5. You can stop WU service and manually download updates, don't know any other method currently
You Windows now is Retail channel, and KMSPico wouldn't harm it. Run this line as an admin to see: Code: slmgr /dlv
Worked for me, activated Windows 7 Ultimate with it, had all recommended updates. Used media tool thing to update. I first pressed uninstall in it, rebooted, ran slmgr /rearm , rebooted, pressed install in loader, rebooted and then downloaded updates and upgraded to 10.
You either run into a busy activation server and just needed to reboot or click on "activate" a dozen times or your Windows 7 install had a corrupt file that caused the Windows 10 activation check to fail. You would of seen any bad files by running MGADiag from Windows 7 and copying the report into notepad. After updating to fix some bugs you can run disk cleanup on C: drive. Select to cleanup system files and then you'll be able to safely remove the remains of your old Windows install.
So it can't be activated automatically, like other versions? Like we activate Windows 10 Pro from a activated Windows 7 Ultimate?
To manage Windows Update on Windows 10 Pro look this: 1. Type gpedit.msc in RUN or Start search box and press Enter. It'll open Group Policy Editor. 2. Now go to: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Update 3. In right-side pane, look for "Configure Automatic Updates" option. 4. The option would be set to Not Configured. Double-click on it and set it to Enabled. Now select any of the given options according to your requirements: 2 - Notify for download and notify for install 3 - Auto download and notify for install 4 - Auto download and schedule the install 5 - Allow local admin to choose setting PS: Select the last option "5 - Allow local admin to choose setting" to be able to choose options in drop-down box on Windows Update settings page. That's it. Apply changes and open Windows Update settings page. Now you'll be able to change desired settings.
Updates can only be configured on win10 pro and enterprise editions. Home edition doesn't have group policy editor and that is needed to adjust advanced settings for windows updates. This is the downfall of installing win10 home edition.
Yep. Go to settings, click on update & security and then you'll see a recovery option. From there you can roll back to Windows 7.
Just a quick thought...might or might not work with home...but set up the god.mode shortcut on your desktop. It might allow access to policies. Put this in notpad and save as on your desktop. To turn on God Mode, create a new folder on your desktop--or anywhere you'd like--and name it: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} Worth a shot, I would check but do not feel like installing home version.
Yeah, I've found it. Back in Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 now. So if I run your loader again with the following settings: - SLIC: Gigabyte (Profile tab) - Certificate: Gigabyte (Profile tab) - Key: Dell (Ultimate) (Profile tab) And don't touch any of the other tabs, an upgrade to Windows 10 would give me an activated Windows 10 without me having to run the Microsoft Toolkit?
I have windows 7 pro with daz loader v2.2 should i just install the Windows 10 pro and keep my personal files intact ? What aboutt the drivers though i cant find anywhere lan drivers for windows 10 or any other driver.. ( Asrock Fatal1ty z77 performance..)
I think it's all broken now. I'm back in Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64 (all Windows updates installed) and every time I run the Daz loader (v2.2.2, with admin rights or without), it crashes as soon as I click on "Install". Never seen this before. So my Windows 7 isn't activated anymore now.
WOW. Thanks. You're the man. No one told me this method. Now I can make my mind to install Pro version without craving and bothering about that trial Enterprise. Quick question. What happens if I chose, 2 - Notify for download and notify for install?
