By the end of this month there will be hundreds more M$ AAS Servers turned on and this will not be an issue again. Older AAS will be also removed and ripped down and upgraded with real time faster grabs and feed services right across the globe.

These servers will also feed everyone the Wave updates in real time and quick

RIM/BlackBerry will be also on their own broadband with M$ on these New Updated Servers RIM Signed on with M$ in 2013 for these partnership so both Services are up to standards and superfast with shared costs to maintain and just not M$ on the hook.

I sure hope so, or that billion will be a bust if they wait forever for activation.

It will all be good, I think you will see a major improvement by tonight or in 3 to 8 hours every so often another server gets turned on to cope with the load

Yeah you're right, it hasn't been as bad since yesterday like it was 2 days ago. I've done a clean install on 7 systems so far, the one I did yesterday re-activated almost immediately.

my product id after clean install is different than that i had for the upgraded Windows 10.

Aren't they supposed to be the same?

This server deal has been on for 12 months and the problem is M$ couldn't get these units in-time for each new and current location to configure and flash each stack and area

So the hardware manufacture dropped the ball a few times within the last year and not solely a M$ fault or defect

Key is generic now. Your HWID is the new and fancy UNIQUE key it needs.

    All good :good3:.

True, I guess we (I really) sometimes just blame everything on M$ but yeah, these were unique circumstances. I wonder how much bandwidth has been consumed and how many request have been done in these past couple of days.

    Euh... YES

And I'm the living proof because I had Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64 (Retail) which I activated using Daz Loader years ago. I first upgraded to Windows 10 and I have Windows 10 Pro x64 now which is still activated even after performing a second, clean install.

    This post made me :D.

Step 1: Get everyone on Win 10, free upgrade
    Step 2: ???
    Step 3: Profit

Perhaps Win 10 is the largest scale ransomware project in history

Can I upgrade with a legit 7 Home Premium license. Then do a format to 7 Pro with Daz Loader and upgrade to Win 10 Pro?

Basically Home/Pro licence on the same hardware? :g:

Probably not seeing as to how your hardware indicates the servers that you are already activated to a certain version.

He can probably update to pro but it will probably deactivate home. He is trying to get 2 systems dual boot on one system. They may allow it but probably not.

Thanks Beam, I took it as he upgraded but then wanted to change.

Just think, if he turns himself into a guinea pig, he'll have the answer, and can start a thread with the info for dual boot and be a hero.

I'll try it in a VM and see what happens.....But even if it works doesn't necessarily mean it will hold forever.

What would be the advantage here? Why would you want to dual boot Home and Pro?

Has anyone scheduled their upgrade for a later date? I want to take a wait-and-see approach before upgrading. They only give you 3 days to choose from in the drop-down list and you can't kill the prompt in Task Manager. If I don't pick a date and just leave it as is, will it upgrade after the next restart or will it just continue to pop up until I "Confirm time and close"?

If I do pick a date, will it automatically start the upgrade on that day and time or will it ask if you want to push it back? I'd like to keep pushing it back until I'm ready, but if there's a way to get rid of the prompt all together I'd much prefer that. Any ideas, guys?
