After I upgrade to win 10 from win 7 with loader, can I just use it or there is any reason that I better install a fresh win 10?

once you do the first upgrade you can directly install Windows 10 without 7. It only needs upgraded once to send your HWID to MS. Once that is done, every time you install Win10 it will look to the MS server for your HWID and activate 10 forever. However, if you change motherboard/CPU you will lose your activation since your HWID (Hardware ID) will be different.

Any planned upgrade of hardware should be done before July 29 so you have the option to install and get Win10 free before the deadline on the new hardware.

Does graphic card count? I think harddisk does not count and I have installed 2 new hdd in windows 7.

After update to win 10, can I just use it or for some reason I better reinstall fresh win 10?

    Thanks!

If you change the HDD to the SSD and return a copy of Win 10 from the HDD I remain activation or not?
    Thank you.

No, HWID is stored on MS Servers, not on HD, should be no problem:)

You should be able to change graphic card without issue, if by chance it does mess up your activation
you simply use activation troubleshooter to fix,
It is in the MDL Quick Links in my signature, go to number #19,#24:)

    @Daz

One key question that I couldn't find much about in the Readme or elsewhere.

Can Daz Loader make appear genuine the following, especially to get the GatherState OS thing for Win 10:

    - Native Boot VHD with Win 7 Ultimate
    - Under Native boot the Mobo & HW is visible as is :) Used it on a Legit M/c and got DE. Now need to see if a Daz Genuine can work via Native Boot VHD.

    - Hyper V VM VHD using Win 7 Ultimate

    @
Anyone else try any variation of such a thing with Daz in VM?

Discussions and recommendations on using native VHD in most of the activation threads so the Search must not be working again  Don't remember any posts on using Hyper-V though o_O

I have never booted from native VHD but isn't it logical to assume that irrespective of where DAZ loader is run,it will do the job because at that time VHD is C drive which is its target(system partition of running system).

Inside VHD? So what path inside the VHD might one keep it?

You are confusing something.Create & boot VHD,once booted from VHD download DAZ loader to default downloads folder which is in C drive which in this case is inside your VHD.Once downloaded, double click & let the loader do its job.Next time when you boot from VHD it should be activated.

I guess after July 29 passes I know if the "Daz upgrades" to 10 sticks.

Just last night because I was bored, I upgraded two Asus eee PC 1000HE netbooks to Windows 10 Home. These two machines started out with XP, I upgraded them to 7 using two Windows 7 Family Pack licenses and then earlier this year "upgraded" them both to Linux Mint 17.2 and then 17.3.

Last night I wiped both drives, installed Windows 7 Home, activated both with Daz's loader then immediately upgraded both to Windows 10. Both upgrades went surprisingly quick and both are running 10 at least as well as 7. No Asus drivers have been installed and I see no need to attempt to install any. All they're used for is surfing and now days very little of that even. I did go through all the usual rigamarole to try and increase privacy and decrease "spying".

We'll just see ... no matter really as I have Linux Mint images for both and Redo Backup & Recovery works really well.

installed Windows 7 Pro on a new Hardware configured as BIOS boot. Activated using DAZ Loader. Upgraded to Windows 10 Pro using 14393.0.160715-1616.RS1_RELEASE_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US. The Upgraded Windows was activated. Performed a clean install after that using the same Windows. Failed activation showing an error message to obtain a genuine copy from store
Installed Windows 7 Pro on a brand new hardware configured as UEFI boot. Activated using KMSPico 10.2. Upgraded to Windows 10 Pro using 14393.0.160715-1616.RS1_RELEASE_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US. Failed to activate showing that Product key is blocked

    conclusion
After July 29 a lot of systems will lose activation & best case scenario some systems will fail activation if someone decides to do a fresh Windows install from an upgraded DAZ or KMS activation

PS: I hope I will not get replies saying this is was shared at post #3879789084789057985 since I didn't check all posts. I'm trying to share what I encountered if you feel it is useless for you be kind enough to spare me your unlimited knowledge.

I am not doubting your experience but yesterday i had 6 systems, installed Ultimate, activate with daz and generated a genuineticket.xml and it worked, on a few systems i had to do a real upgrade because of preservation of files and no time to backup/move them. It still should work and HWID's established will work after august 2nd.

Maybe MS is doing some kind of hardware-oem relation check.e.g.there should not be any 5th or 6th gen core i system with pre-installed win 7 or any system build after 01/01/2015(just an example) as such systems clearly show key as OEM_SLP.So if someone use DAZ loader on such systems then it is easily identifiable as non-genuine.For win 8.1 kms it is even easier as MS knows all the generic keys used in such tools.Did those 6 systems came with recent or older(4th gen intel or older) hardware?
