usb drives are really cheap, they're free if you buy it loaded with 10 and easier to ship than a disk
a dvd disk can't be virus infected?
most pc's that 10 can be installed onto also provide the USB boot option too, "most pc's"

    A 4 GB USB is about 4$
A inkjet printable DVD is about 0,40$

But how much cost Windows 10 ?

I speak about "selling it with older Notebook on eBay" and then it's not easier to ship.

A virus free DVD can not infected with a virus.
A virus free USB stick can infected with a virus.

I speak about "selling it with older Notebook on eBay". This means: 3 years old Windows 8 Notebook or 6 years old Windows 7 Notebook.

And as a giveaway to a novice user: He can associate much easier what is on a labelled Windows 10 DVD than on a NoName USB stick.

To me this seems to suspect.
Does it matter what the label looks like??

Surely if your not selling the discs, than personal preference should take precedence on the final look that you like
