So, why is everyone installing Enterprise LTSB instead of Pro? I preffer a clean Windows too, but why not use the Daz Loader and avoid KMS?
What i meant to say is: We can go from W7 to W10 using Daz but we can't go from W7 to W10 Enterprise. So, why is everyone installing Enterprise LTSB instead of Pro? I preffer a clean Windows too, but why not use the Daz Loader and avoid KMS?
Personally I can't see any differences between a windows permanently activated and one activated for six months since the day of last boot. Instead I can see a big difference between an os plenty of unwanted crap, and one that does what I need. Also no worries moving the HDD over different machines/hw, something that I do often.
Oh, that one... Yes way better than the XAML one. But Classic Shell is still way better than both of them. I guess that people who don't think so, has never spent 10 minutes looking to the endless customizations it offers. For the record, I started using it in win 7 not win 8, because it's still way better than win 7 start menu too, even if you can make it to look identical, at first sight.
Because we're trying to avoid metro as much as possible. Windows 10 Pro & Home is like Android.. You need 4 hours to set this up.. uninstalling 1240 preinstalled applications, disable applications that can't be uninstalled.. Get it? We just want to use a OS which is not bloated & not metro/xaml . Yes, sure. StartIsBack+++ is awesome, i already used it. If no one finds a way to get the old Win32 startmenu back, i might use it again
Thanks for the answer T-S. You know, i'm a little bit worried about KMS because i have only 1 PC (my laptop) and i don't know if KMS will work over and over again. And another thing, if i choose KMS activation, i don't know the diferences between KMS Pico, MTK, KMS VS ALL, etc.
Start is back is really nice, once was slightly cleaner and better looking than Classic Shell, but now both of tham are looking fine, while Classic shell has a tons of options more than Startisback. CS is also freeware.
Well you can install the version permanently activated, than image the disk and save the image in a secure place. If you don't like the LTSB version you can always restore the former.
Is there some way to get the Store with this version, or at least apps from it? Reason is, my main device for Windows is a Surface, and some apps are really good for tablet use. However, I also want to get rid of the bloat, so I'd like to stay away from Win10 Pro.
If you format system so there wouldn't be anything to activate and all lost. With each day passes 1 reduced from 180, 179, 178, ..., 0 But with AutoKMS method everyday activation happens behind the scenes 180, 179, 180, 179, ... so it takes forever.
