I have the same "problem" with Feeback slider 2/2, but I know it's because I used gpedit to change some values manually.
Yup feels like something is adjusting the registry or another program at least.... it could be also the software so best to install latest version otherwise it may feel like a bit of detective work to find out. This is why I like peerblock + block list, does not matter if its MS of any other nasties tracking me they get blocked as much as they can I guess.
Possibly, but not today it seems. It will continue to get cumulative updates/security etc. It might get 10586 at a later date (minus most of the changes that it has, which mostly revolve around metro/modern app stuff: Cortana, Edge, Mail, Calendar, Photos, Groove, Xbox, Store, OneNote, Solitaire)
Seem that no one noticed it, but the post 240 builds got a great improvement to the snap function. Now you can move the divider and resize mutually two DESKTOP programs just like Win 8 did in the early days with the useless metro apps. And that's a great improvement that should have been there since the W8 release. For example you can use an email client stuck to a browser, apeing one of the function which made Opera 12 the best browser ever
Hello, I just tested you process...installing Windws 10 Enterprise LTSB N. Disabling auto updates via gpedit. It doesn't seem to work. When I click check for updates, it checks and immediately starts downloading updates.
This is normal, unfortunately... if you manually check for updates it will start downloading and installing. The setting you changed with gpedit (I changed it to "notify" on my system) only changes the behavior of the background service from the default behavior of check, download and install ... into check and notify user.
Try administrative tools => component services => services (local) => Windows Updates => stop => disable Regards
Can anyone provide me the latest 1511 build for Enterprise ltsb N x64 link? I am not able to find one. Thanks.
Because it's LONG TERM. It's LONG TERM support base. Like, no need to worry about MS breaking things every 3 months with new "features".
Lolz why are people replying as if I don't know that ! do you read people I was responding to an post before that somebody asked for an updated LTSB
Can't believe after all this time, there are still people who don't understand LTSB and that it doesn't receive the same feature updates as the others
They fall in to the same group as people that think that their iPhone is immune to malware and Linux is the future.
My mistake. I installed it coz of its cleanness unaware about its future updates model, I am aware about it after some searching. Not really. I asked that question and I am not that novice but anyways I won't stretch this any longer. Thanks to all who replied to my query.
No worries mate this forum use to be second to none, a classy place where mutual respecting was shown and with a group of brilliant guys. Now it is full of aholes that have nothing better to do than criticize people. Nothing lasts forever. Still on ltsb as it is running fine ........ do not need the driver updates frenzy that the above fore mentioned require. It appears we are with the new comers now ...... 18 posts and one with Regards
