Have someone succeeded to activate this version ( LTSB X64) with generic key? No success with "2YT43"
The key you gave is for regular Windows 10 Enterprise. For Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB you need 76DF9. I don't know if I can post links or not but just Google 76DF9
i testing in VBOX5 - W10 ENT LTSB N and nonN and its very tempting without all "metro" apps "disabling" Windows Update only for "notifying" thru GPO works in all Enterprise editions same way... i have not found LTSB in this different
It's not difficult to make a script, or a reg file, with all the needed changes. The guys here at MDL could do even better: a small GUI tweaking program with some check boxes (like xp-AntiSpy). Nowadays there's nothing but insults to our intelligence. Relax.
Excellent version of Windows 10. This is the one for me. As pure a desktop version as we will ever get from Microsoft from now on. I'm still having an issue with remote desktop, but I found that if the user is signed out of the Win 10 box, then you can remote desktop to it just fine. With Win 8.1, it's smoother. When you remote to another Win XP, 7, 8 box it just worked. Activated with MTK 2.53.
Under a VM, settting GPEdit to Notify before downloading did nothing on my RTM W10 Enterprise (non LTSB) vol installation. As a matter of fact, all settings were ignored, leaving me to chose between Automatic or Scheduled restart on the drop-down menu, as with the Pro version, instead of locking it with a GPEdit setting. Update: gpupdate.exe /force applied the setting instantly on Pro, so it should also on the regular Enterprise.
i dont know if "N" version is so good idea if you playing games or working with multimedia... i tested N some time ago and few games wont start because they wanted codecs from WMP
anyways just to disable automatic reboots? I don't mind the updates just let me reboot when i want. Also i messed up I installed non N, but its activated. If i clean install with N will the activation stay ?
Does anyone know what kind of new "features" we will be missing out on when using LTSB? I'm not interested in using any Apps/Store/Cortana/Edge/WMP etc., but if there will be feature updates to enhance the core of Windows, will there be an option to add those features manually or could MS block such new features from being installed at all?
So just to confirm, the control over windows updates in this version is just like the Pro on other versions?
I tried the group policy settings and didn't help. May I know what you can do in LTSB to control updates that the Pro can't do?
I followed the upgrade-then-clean-install route, but when I try to activate it it gives me an error 0x8007232B - DNS name doesn't exist. The iso's sha1 matches the official release, and the key is 76DF9, but I still have no luck. Any idea how to solve it?
