sorry, i don't understand all in discussion... but :
do you know build number change every month ?!
each second tuesday of month there is cumulative update which change build number.
get or build latest iso is for people which install Windows every day.
even entreprise iso build 1904x from mid-2020 will be the latest version after the first Windows update...

Done. Sorry I didn't know that was off limits, MDL is hardcore in everything else.

Yes, of course! I don't reinstall constantly, I admin long-term stuff. I never touch betas.

I research new isos every couple years. It used to be quite easy, you could even download the entire thing directly from Microsoft's website. But they killed 7 so that is not an option anymore. (no security updates, many applications don't run)

Today there are dozens of different versions, release channels, they just changed their nomenclature again.

By getting the current LTSC and the current/latest stable enterprise we can use the files for long-term. My reason for interest in single edition is space, it's much smaller and nobody needs the edu/pro.

A few years too late but very nice! We can still use it for the office 2013. I don't remember the story, but there was some drama around a very well known developer, he switched forums, something like that. Or maybe that was another tool. Great work in every case.
Edit: Oh nice, it is still actively developed!

Win update is extremely slow on low-end hardware/slow internet, but you're right. I didn't really *need* to update. But now LTSC was released in winter so I figured I would get it all done.

iso multi edition isn't much bigger than one edition. 95% if not 99% of files are same.
esd/wim/updated or refreshed (=with Last month integraded or slipstreamed in xp days) has different size because compression or cleanup, but
once installed, and Windows Update'd, all have the same size !
ltsc smaller because less modern apps, and it cannot change his build edition (ltsc 2021 will always 19044.xxx)
regular entreprise will get new build (old iso 1909/18363 will be 19044 after Windows update ) same as home or pro but entreprise delay feature update by 6 month iirc
You just need the iso of last Main Version called 21h2 no matter exact build number because it's juste updates (21h2 has same binary files of 21h1 / 20h2 / 2004)
    previous Main Version was 1607/1703/1709/1803/1903/1909)
get or build the last month iso with just the last Windows Update month integrated isn't need. except for those install Windows everyday as me. because i lost 1 hour to make it, but i win 1 day to install over 10 computer.

    4.56 GB (4,899,461,120 bytes)

That's why I get both the LTSC + enterprise depending on usage.

True, it wasn't necessary to look into it that much. At first I just needed to find out what the current 'correct' method was. I don't know what the differences are between the ESD method and the UUP script, but it works very well.

You probably already know it, but did you consider clonezilla? (I don't know if that still works with modern windows or if this leads to id clashes or something)

I tried to replicate the MVS Business ISO on uup dump as much as possible by integrating the same updates (left out the old SSU, won't make a real difference in size) and creating the same SKUs (normal client multi would (only) have contained Home & Pro + their N equivalents).

And UUP dump doesn't provide the NDP48 update included in the MVS Business ISO, so manually added it too.

    @c7d6bc4c :
Your 19044.1526.220202-1511.21H2_RELEASE_SVC_PROD1_CLIENTMULTI_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO with 3.68 GB , is made with ESD compression with cleanup option.
needed for those use FAT32 usb key , SWM format can be used too ( = WIM in multi part )
All 19044.xxx has all same size +1/2 GB with a Cumulative Windows Update installed once it's on the hard drive

...But there's no point in changing a perfectly greased script that works like clockwork.
I felt clarification is needed since you've expressed some distrust.[/QUOTE]

Chiming in here, not attempting to be rude or confrontational, etc... (And I'm sure everyone will back me up on this (chuckle); I totally have tremendous trust in the prepped optical disk images and I absolutely appreciate the always on availability, that is totally beyone any question. Also for anyone out there who may be 'Black Sabbbath level Paranoid' about some sort of electronic trap or baked in malware can probably rest a little bit at ease because from what I can tell the people who put these patch sets together are totally not into all that kind of BS. You can tell by interacting over time. Thay constantly put there reputation right out there; nothing ever shady shows up, its the same talented people over and over and the last thing that I could possibly imagine that they would want is a ding like that on their reputation, obviouysly (New levels define the word "METICULO?US". You can tell without having to do very much personbality analysis here that its pure dedication to the cause, code and crew. They are enjoying what they do and get a kick out of making huge, long lasting impressions AND I for one am always IMPRESSED! Besides not being left out in the cold without up to date installation sets there are always concise answers to puzzling questions. If you got it from ____ here, you know its going to be amazing and unquestionably trustworthy. If you still can't extingquish that last bit of doubt (which is a good thing in a way) then think about the many people who use these resources and the huge response that would occur if somthing untoward did happen (There would be a huge response if something went worng, especially intentionally and the response would be virtually instantaneous due to the huge, highly intelligent user base. Theres not a drop of malice on this site and I'll go out on a limb and say that this is possibly and probably the safest software library in the world.

I try not to miss completely obvious chances to cheerlead for the crew, so thanks for the easy, forward pass on this one.

OF COURSE STAY ALERT AND NEVER LEAVE YOUR GUARD DOWN; THE MINUTE THAT YOU STOP BEING PARANOID IS WHEN THEY GET YOU.

Best regards and have a good one, whatever it may be.... TTFN.
