This thread is about ESD files and the first ESD files released for 19041/2 = 19041.84 IP and 19041.264 GA. For 19042 it's: 19042.450 IP and now 19042.572 for GA. If you want a 19041.1 ISO, download the Cumulative 19041.572 fileset on UUP dump and set addupdates =0 in the convertconfig.ini file. There is no clean 19042 version.
If you download a generic .iso or .esd and only select the language, you will receive a .iso or .esd that has all the versions you specify, and you can choose what you want to install. Moreover, an enterprise exists for both the consumer version and the business version. So you don't have to bother with this problem at all. This has been talked about in this forum and everywhere else for about six+ years. Download one yourself and then you will see what is there and what is not.
I created iso from new esd 20h2 (19042.572.201009) then i clean installed on my PC but KB4579311 tried to install through windows update but failed, then i used vpn and re-downloaded and install KB4579311 through windows update successfully. My question is wasn't it suppose to be included in the esd? @abbodi1406 @Enthousiast
@LoneMeaow LCU will mostly re-offered/downloaded/cached in case: - you didn't integrate it as the last - you enabled some features - you added some another keyboard language it's known behavior since v1809
MediaTool ISO also has Education SKU in it , which can be choosen by EI.cfg So that is the same as the Education SKU recommended here or do I proceed with .ESD to ISO ?
The only difference between the Education SKU from the Consumer or Business media is that the business one has the gVLK inserted vy default.
@Dude Guyman you mean hidden devices in Device Manager? that's because the 20H2 ESD/ISO is created after doing audit install / sysprep, due the new MS Edge Chromium so yeah, it's not very clean
