On PCs that are not supported by Windows 11, it is better to install without connection, since according to probe during the installation of the operating system it downloads updates online and can cause problems
This is not the thread to discuss this but when OOBE is reached, all hardware checks are done and the installed SSU/LCU don't check for the requirements atm.
@abbodi1406 Thank to find esd links. By the way, how did you find these esd links? All file names and sha1 are not published by Microsoft.
Is it possible to trim ISO to fit 4GB(3.7GiB) flash drive? I've used 21H1 ESD with esd-decrypter to remove all unnecessary indexes and converted to ISO with solid compression(ESD), but still I'm short of ~24MB to fit the whole ISO. Can boot.wim be solid commpressed, trimmed? Assuming that ISO don't use all the files for boot installation, which files/folders are safe to remove to free the space? Any other suggestions?
I'm just now going to W10 but apparently I'm not smart enough to figure this out on my own. From what I've read 'Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019' has had it's EoS extended till 2029 but I'm not sure which version/release_svc_refresh on page 1 to run the conversion script on or am I missing something? If anyone can tell me which one is correct or if it's even there, I would be grateful. thanks for any enlightenment, michael clyde
@perceivedelusion I suggest you look at this topic: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...b-17763-xxx-pc-rs5.77945/page-51#post-1467631
@SunLion, Thanks for the link. I don't know why I thought it would be an ESD. I finally pulled my head out after doing some additional reading and found the 'MVS Collection' (thanks to a posted link by 'luzea') and D/L the .iso itself, 17763.316. Feb. 2019 [the latest] It seems I screamed for help before looking farther. Thanks again for answering. michael clyde
