Because of cumulative patching like Apple's OSX, these ESDs/ISOs are pointless as they have Feb 2016 updates. Better to integrate latest cumulative update of March to plain or virgin TH2 wim and use it as homebrew. Even burphy78 has used TH2 wim as base for his latest release.
New updated ESD (DiamondMon) and New MCT (abbodi1406) has same 10586.104 with 3 KBs (3116278, 3136561, 3135173). and also setup menu displayed date was 2016-02-13 updated.
kb3116278 is not integrated, only kb3136561 and kb3135173. kb3116278 is the OOBE ZDP, it gets installed during OOBE.
Yes, True. Thank you and I knew it. I just note what is including in 104 after installed for both (esd and mct).
So the MSDN enterprise ISO has build string 10586.103.th2_release.160126-1819, while the ESDs have 10586.0.th2_refresh.160212-2000. Judging by the date code, it appears the ESDs are newer, however there are no enterprise versions in the ESDs. What's the actual difference between the ISO and ESDs, are the ESDs actually newer?
The esd files are used by windows update and mct to do the upgrade or create iso (mct). They are the same as the msdn iso's, both contain: Getpackages on Core x86 ESD: Code: Package Identity : Package_for_KB3135173~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.1.2 State : Installed Release Type : Security Update Install Time : 13-2-2016 12:06 Package Identity : Package_for_KB3136561~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.1.0 State : Installed Release Type : Update Install Time : 13-2-2016 12:06 Getpackages on Home x86 ME ISO MSDN: Code: Package Identity : Package_for_KB3135173~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.1.2 State : Installed Release Type : Security Update Install Time : 13-2-2016 12:06 Package Identity : Package_for_KB3136561~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.1.0 State : Installed Release Type : Update Install Time : 13-2-2016 12:06 There is one thing different between MSDN iso and ESD file and that's the esd file is Home or Pro only and MSDN is Multiple Editions (Home and Pro). There are also Multi ESD's
10586.103.th2_release.160126-1819 = ntoskrnl.exe version/date 10586.0.th2_refresh.160212-2000 = build date of the media MSDN Feb 2016 ISO = March 2016 ESD
Anyone knows if there is way to find 10586.0.160212-2000.th2_refresh_clientpro_ret_x64fre_es-mx around?
