We have a snap crew of moderators and administrators who see everything here. If it was a problem it would have been addressed, if it was already post elsewhere it would have been addressed as well. Since MS always has some of the most horrid images known to man in their OS's at RTM. I am interested in this thread and what will come at RTM, if for no other reason than to vomit on MS and their poor choice in backgrounds lol
(Looks at wallpapers) It's like they tried to look inspirational while glancing at nature at the same time. SIGH... MS stop looking at nature porn and XP. You already ruined Windows there is no bringing back Windows 7 or XP.
I'm not sure why the matter deserves a debate. They are just stupid wallpapers subjects of personal taste, if one find them too bright, too ugly, too colored, too something... can just use a different image. I believe that replacing the stock wallpaper was the first operation done by the first win95 user. So it shouldn't be a news in win 10...

There so many nice Wallpapers and Themes in W10IP already! Just open Settings -->Personalizatioon -->Themes -->Go to themes settings -->Get more themes online and just check with 'Compatible with the new Windows' and there they are!! Hundreds of nice Pictures etc, ready for to download free!!
Every OS I've tried whether Microsoft, Apple or Linux have always had as least one descent wallpaper as standard. And as others have said there are thousands of websites out there with incredible wallpapers from every genre you can think of. Which is why I can not understand why 90% of the PC/Laptop's that come to me for repair have the most hideous, ugly, wrongly sized or aspect ratio'd, rubbish plastered across there screens.
I was just over there checking out the 10114 gallery, and was thinking that purple wallpaper Brad Sams is using was pretty good.

It doesn't. All you need to do is to click on your computer resolution(1920x1080,etc) below the one with the watermark which is an example.
