If as many have now confirmed its exactly the same 10240 ESD as everyone had last week, where does the 6Gb download come into it? :g:

I realise there have been a few upgrades and they may be downloading with the ESD but nowhere near that tally of 6GB surely!

here there are no such big files. Just the regular file sizes of either x86 or x64 versions though

OK so I have a tablet with Win8.1 with Bing and no $Windows.~BT yet...
Is there any way to force the download?

I just took the esd out of it and if you add that to the files that are on the ISO, which are also DL'ed into the folder, its 6.32 gb. The esd decrypted to a 3.71 gb ISO . Why do they basically download it twice to the machine?

Anyone know a good SAFE open chinese proxy that we can use to fast forward the update (change timezone etc). Anyone tried that?

ok im going to say it again.

it is automatically extracting the esd to the $windows.~bt folder. and thats why the folder size is big

if you look under sources folder and then safeos folder and then safeos.mount.

Just about 2 hours ago I took an older off lease HP PRO with legit win7 pro x64 installed and installed the Win10 upgrade icon. Rebooted and changed the date to 7/29/15 and rebooted to win7 and refreshed my C\ drive till the $Windows.-BT folder appeared containing 2 files and was not updating. I then installed a VPN and logged in to Sydney AU......heres where the magic started. I rebooted the puter and it started to update windows after about 15 minutes of update finally rebooted. Checked $Windows.-BT and over 4.5 gigs had downloaded in 15 min:D. The install files were there..... BUT:mad: still won't let you install, no (boot.wim) error code ox80070002. Just thought that this was a super way to get Win10 ready to go. Message me for Info on the VPN software I use (it's not a free service) If you are of interest.
