No. Chinese and English only for 17763 CMGE (EnterpriseG). If I install EnterpriseS edition and install NOT Chinese / English, and then install EnterpriseG edition, then after reboot the language will change to Chinese ... but Chinese is better than "Blue Screen of Death"
Do you know how to repack EnterpriseG-ppdlic.xrm-ms? From zh-CN;en-US Code: <sl:policyStr attributes="reboot-required, override-only" name="Kernel-MUI-Language-Allowed">zh-CN;en-US</sl:policyStr> To EMPTY Code: <sl:policyStr attributes="reboot-required, override-only" name="Kernel-MUI-Language-Allowed">EMPTY</sl:policyStr>
You mean CMGE_V2020-L.1207.iso\sources\install.wim\Windows\System32\spp\tokens\skus\EnterpriseG\EnterpriseG-ppdlic.xrm-ms ? I can do it (with Notepad ++ and then copy using WinPE) ... but then the checksum of the EnterpriseG-ppdlic.xrm-ms file will change ... If the sfc and dism programs check this file, then will it be an error again?
I have replaced the combination “zh-CN; en-US” with “EMPTY” in this file C:\Windows\System32\spp\tokens\skus\EnterpriseG\EnterpriseG-ppdlic.xrm-ms … No changes… if the edition is EnterpriseG, then only CN or EN... I am not getting "BSOD". By the way, I noticed that the files C:\Windows\System32\spp\tokens\skus\EnterpriseG\EnterpriseG-ppdlic.xrm-ms and CMGE_V2020-L.1207.iso\sources\install.wim\Windows\System32\spp\tokens\skus\EnterpriseG\EnterpriseG-ppdlic.xrm-ms Differ in checksum ...
The file has got damanged and invalid. It's because you have not run cscript slmgr.vbs /rilc, and changed language.
Yes, there may be compatibility issues for old devices. But there's possiblity that you are still not familiar enough with it.
xinso Thank you, I learned a lot, it was interesting! I am currently using Windows 10 EnterpriseS 17763.2366 [multilingual] (reconstruction CMGE_V2020-L.1207), it works great. I'm sure the Chinese version of Windows 11 CMGE will be interesting as well, I'll wait.
Welcome I don't use CMGE. But now that you want it real EnterpriseS, here is zh-CN EnterpriseG to zh-CN EnterpriseS. When you use other language, you have to translate and copy Windows\PolicyDefinitions\zh-CN\CMITCustomPolicy.adml to your target language folder. For example, Windows\PolicyDefinitions\ru-RU. 17763.X_CMGE_to_17763.1_LTSC_amd64.7z sha1: F2591A27600967BCF73179D95AAFA51C2EEB4AC0 Spoiler: gone gone [How-To] Step 4-1: Extract 17763.X_CMGE_to_17763.1_LTSC_amd64.7z to 17763.X_CMGE_to_17763.1_LTSC_amd64 Step 4-2: Extract CMGE_V2020-L.1207.iso\sources\install.wim to 17763.X_CMGE_to_17763.1_LTSC_amd64 Step 4-3: Extract content of 17763.1 zh-CN amd64 language pack to 17763.X_CMGE_to_17763.1_LTSC_amd64\lp Step 4-4: Run 17763.X_CMGE_to_17763.1_LTSC_amd64\Start-As-Admin.cmd as Administrator Code: ===================================================================================================================== Converting 17763.1397 Windows 10 China Netcom Government Edition EnterpriseG to 17763.1 Enterprise LTSC amd64 zh-CN ===================================================================================================================== --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mounting image --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.19041.746 Mounting image [==========================100.0%==========================] The operation completed successfully. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Removing cumulative update --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.19041.746 Image Version: 10.0.17763.1397 Processing 1 of 1 - Removing package Package_for_RollupFix~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~17763.1397.1.5 [==========================100.0%==========================] The operation completed successfully. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Creating EnterpriseS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.19041.746 Image Version: 10.0.17763.1 Removing package Microsoft-Windows-EnterpriseGEdition~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.17763.1 Removing package Microsoft-Windows-EnterpriseGEdition~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.17763.1 [==========================100.0%==========================] The operation completed successfully. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Removing Windows Defender --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.19041.746 Image Version: 10.0.17763.1 Processing 1 of 1 - Removing package Windows-Defender-Client-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.17763.1 [==========================100.0%==========================] The operation completed successfully. PS: 1. As for those OEM Wallpapers which cause integrity violations issues, well, I can show you how, but you have to modify the script yourself. (But I don't guarantee for this modded one, because this EnterpriseS is using EnterpriseG's SKU structure.) a. Create a folder Wallpapers in 17763.X_CMGE_to_17763.1_LTSC_amd64\files b. Copy those 4 original Windows Wallpaper folders to 17763.X_CMGE_to_17763.1_LTSC_amd64\files\Wallpapers c. In Create.cmd, add this line ahead of Resetting image base, and save xcopy /S /E /I /H /R /Y /J files\Wallpapers %MT%\Windows\WinSxS Code: xcopy /S /E /I /H /R /Y /J files\Wallpapers %MT%\Windows\WinSxS >NUL 2>&1 echo. echo --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- echo Resetting image base echo --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With LCU installed, and sfc /scannow, the OEM Wallpapers in C:\Windows\Web will be restored to original Windows Wallpapers. 2. The OEM product name "Windows 10 EnterpriseG China Netcom Government Edition" will be be replaced with "Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC". 3. You can use 19044 LTSC to upgrade. But 19044 is not supported by CMGE update, you have to use Microsoft update or Manual update. Reminder: Never delete file or remove package from 19041\19042\19043\19044 because they use new update technology which will cause Windows Update failure.
1. It's not clear here ... "CMGE_V2020-L.1207.iso" is this the original Chinese file? Then why in [Step 4-3] it is necessary to additionally download and install "zh-CN amd64 language pack" if this package is already in "CMGE_V2020-L.1207.iso"? 2. Then I have to install the English interface like in this post? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...vs-china-government.80933/page-7#post-1715294
