I am also in a similar dilemma. Here is where I am stuck. I am on the laptop which came with Windows 10 Home SL version. I want to make it into Windows Pro. I can reset the Laptop to Factory reset. oem-dm key I checked as of now show license to Windows 10 Home SL version.

My question is if I create a DVD with $oem$ folder with pro ei.cfg and install over the same machine using files from Multi OEM project, I get new Pro version in my oem-dm key? Will I be able to activate the Pro version? Can anyone help me to solve this puzzle?

    No.

    1. the oem:Dm can't be changed like slic could on 7.
    2. the ei.cfg is only for doing a clean install of Pro/Ent/Edu with a oem:Dm bioskey for core/home.
    3. and the ei.cfg doesn't need to be in the oem folder, just the \sources folder.
    4. the Multi_OEM project is not for changing oem:Dm but it "uses" the oem:em key.

Search for one of T-S's VHD posts, changing the hdd would be to intrusive on a laptop.

Thanks for the reply, that clears the doubt. Now How shall I go about to alter the HWID to Pro? Any links will be helpful as I have 2 HDD. M2 SSD + 1 TB HDD on that laptop. So Removing the HDD will give me a new HWID?

Just read a few (older) threads and you'll get hit by one with all the info you need.

Can we make the Windows 10 forget looking (or bypass) for oem:Dm keys for activation so that I can activate through upgrade via Windows 8.1 and get new digital entitlement? Laptop which came with OEM home version needs to make PRO. I don't mind losing the OEM status.

It ignores GenuineTicket.xml and goes to check oem:Dm instead.

I'm forgetting the fact, to upgrade on a system with an oem:Dm bioskey for home and you want to go from 8.1 pro/kms to 10 pro, you have to use a 10240 iso, that one can't readout the oem:Dm bioskey :)
