What happens if I installed Windows 10 Pro OEM on a pre-installed Windows 10 Home Edition Dell laptop, will Windows 10 be activated or not? Dell Inspirion 15 5580 RAM: 4GB Graphics: Intel 640UHD HDD: 1TB So do I have to install Windows Clean or upgrade to Windows 10 Home SL
What about pre-installed Windows partitions? Whether a pre-installed partition will be deleted on clean install
And if I want to go to pre-installed windows again, what to do and please don't mind, I am afraid to take the risk because of I have a new laptop
You can always clean install the originally pre-installed OS by ISO, it will be able to readout the MSDM bioskey and activate it by that key. But if you not confident to do this, then don't
Why so sad? If you are not confident, read up on the process. It's not rocket science. If you make a mistake, your PC won't start chucking nukes at China. This forum is a veritable goldmine of information. Hang around and read read read until your confidence attains level.
I upgraded a DEll G3 15 with Windows 10 Core this way : - disconnect from the Internet - settings ->Activation-->Change product key (don't use slmgr /ipk pro key) - enter the pro key - Your system will be updated and rebooted - After reboot activate your system with a KMS solution (or whatever solution you can find).
Thanks Dude... i upgraded a Dell Inspiron 15 (5580) Windows 10 Home Single Language to Pro but after that i can't use any KMS for Activation its all ready activated
