if you checked C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log you would see that PkgMgr call DISM to install the package but yeah, that works too dism have /Quiet /NoRestart switches too
Yeah i must have made a mistake (someone asked me something which may have caused my error ). Am now checking again, the sizes and dates differ so i must have mounted the same install.wim twice EDIT: My bad: Spoiler Code: Command line that ran is dism.exe /image:E:\Mount /Get-Packages Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.14328.1000 Image Version: 10.0.10586.0 Packages listing: Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-Client-LanguagePack-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~en-US~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : Language Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 6:48 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-DiagTrack-Internal-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : Feature Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 5:50 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-Foundation-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : Foundation Install Time : 10/30/2015 5:50 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Basic-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : OnDemand Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 6:49 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Handwriting-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : OnDemand Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 6:49 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-OCR-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : OnDemand Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 6:49 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Speech-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : OnDemand Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 6:49 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-TextToSpeech-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : OnDemand Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 6:49 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-Prerelease-Client-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~en-US~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : Language Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 6:48 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-Prerelease-Client-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : Feature Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 5:50 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-RetailDemo-OfflineContent-Content-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : OnDemand Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 7:00 AM Package Identity : Microsoft-Windows-RetailDemo-OfflineContent-Content-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.10586.0 State : Installed Release Type : OnDemand Pack Install Time : 10/30/2015 6:59 AM The operation completed successfully.
10586.0.160212-2000.th2 refresh / Version 1511 / Include KB3135173, KB3136561 this iso which update should integrate please help
That has nothing to do with the use of an already superseded iso release (it already was on the date of release) when you manually offline service a windows image.
Is anyone NOT having problems with KB3147458 (the latest cumulative update) I've seen lots of complaints about KB3147458 (which was released about 2 weeks ago). I can't post links yet, but search for KB3147458 and click the 3rd link. I've been holding off on installing it waiting for a fix, but I haven't seen anything yet. I'm guessing this isn't an issue for most people or it would have been fixed already. Has anyone installed the latest updates without any issues? Thanks
Perfect, as to be expected from a solid piece of finely crafted software from the legendary Microsoft. no issues here (lol)
I am going to use en_windows_10_multiple_editions_version_1511_updated_feb_2016_x64_dvd_8379634.iso, in order to create an updated Windows 10 ISO. The applicable update to be integrated into the iso: KB3140741, KB3154132, KB3157621. Is there an order that needs to be followed in slipstreaming the updates into the ISO? Otherwise, I shall integrate the updates in this order: KB3140741, KB3154132, KB3157621. Thanks for the advice.
Offline integrating updates doesn't need a specific order. When all updates are put in 1 folder DISM will integrate them correct. Why use a source which has already superseeded updates? You can just use the install.wim from the "RTM" 10586.0, update it and insert it in the feb updated iso or just use the dynamic cab for updating the installmedia files on the 10586.0 iso.
^ Enthousiast Are you suggesting that I should use 10.0.10586.0 iso (stated as follows) instead?
