"Update could not be applied, undoing changes." That hasn't happened until now, wonder what caused that but eh it is a "release preview" update after all so not completely tested or how to say. Edit: Reading about it on other forums it seems I'm not alone at least so perhaps a updated version will be released soon.

CU kb3194496 got installed by WU on my system and the build is still 14393.187 ? EDIT, it failed to install but WU is downloading it again, waiting EDIT2: keeps failing. My system became dodgy after a few upgrades to insider previews and rollbacks, i was already planning on reinstalling windows, we'll see what happens then
I have the same problem EDIT: I managed to install putting the PC to shut down and upgrade instead of restarting
When i try to online install using abbodi1406's W10UI_1.6 it says the update is already installed: Code: ============================================================ Extracting/Copying .cab files to temp folder ============================================================ All detected updates are found installed ============================================================ Finished ============================================================ Press any key to exit. ps, On a running Win Server 2016 it installed online with the script.
Seems like Microsoft is not testing patches very well before release. I still have the three 2016 servers that won't install the latest CU, even after doing an in-place upgrade back to 14393.0 Coincidentally, these three I believe were the ones that decided they wanted to install the On-Demand languages en-us (even though original install was en-us) and en-gb. If I could figure out how to properly remove those...
confirmed installed using DISM /Online to Server 2016 14393.187 -> .222 EDIT: nope, failed on update and restart during subsequent boot with roll back
