    After 479 undated and reboot, not working IE11 and Chrome browsers.
    Uninstalled them and rollback 477 but still same problem even winver it said 14393.0.
    Now I am restore whole image backup to 477.

    I will monitoring your problem post with 479 update.

    I have updated to 14393.479, and everything works fine including IE11 and Chrome

    If you install the latest CU in LTSB 14393 to bring it up to 14393.479, and have also manually installed the Edge browser, you will find it no longer works. This happens no matter if you install offline, or online. Of course most people won't install Edge on LTSB, but this is what happens.

    Good info. Did you try to reinstall Edge? Did it work?

    Edit: Based on your findings, I've decided to disable automatic updates all together. This may happen when I'm servicing a system, but never on a system in the field.

    Normally Edge is NOT supported for LTSB editons like Windows 10 EnterpriseS(N)/Windows Server 2016.

    So, when 14393.0 meets 14393.479, it starts to fail on Windows 10 EnterpriseS(N)/Windows Server 2016.

    Yes, understood. So it cannot be restored? Maybe when Edge package is updated also?
