Anyone know a way for force installing the regular Adobe Flash player installer for Internet Explorer on Windows 10? What I want to do is installing install_flash_player_ax.exe version 24.0.0.221.
install_flash_player_ax.exe is for Windows 7/Vista/XP You need to wait for M$ to release a proper update. Yet not today. All guys at the Redmond Giant are kissing each other today...
I am not a good waiter... There should be a way. I think I can just copy/replace/re-register Flash.ocx from a Windows 7 after installing the new Flash Player. I think I did this in the past on Windows 8.1. Thanks anyway.
yes you can install it in compatibility mode for windows 7, but later you have to rename the files, becase in Windows 8.x/10 they use other names, otherwise IE11/Edge will not recognize the new version.
Can we pls go back to the topic? This is now about everything except wu updates which this thread was designed for and every time I see a new post I think there is something new or important, ... Thanks friends to keep this clean.
interesting thing wanted to update my graphic driver so i go to all the process of uninstall then install again, windows update was faster and start download instantly, by this point i got my driver back running. so i say when i restart will stop. Well not still downloading... open tpcview kill conections.. still reconnect again. Disable windows update service, still downloading. Even add the ip to host to block it, still download. So what the hell is happening here ?
Hahaha! So it's still possible to cheat? Never thought that... was hoping Adobe/M$ was more sophisticated Yes, I can just correct the names. Thanks a lot. Maybe this is what I did in Windows 8.1. Don't remember yet This will the last post about Flash here. BTW no updates yet. 09:38 AM PST here.
