    What do you mean then? 14393 is not version 1607?
    Anyway, I cannot install it on Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.970).

    That was a confirmation it's for 14393 aka 1607 and i also said it isn't offered on 14393.970, it probably is catalog only.

    Normal installation of KB4017100 failed

    Integration of the cab with dism worked

    But I don't know how to handle the exe-file

    When you open it on command promt you get this message:

    You are not supposed to handled it manually

    exe file is embedded within the msu update, which is applicable only if you installed the offending MTP drivers from WU

    cab file is null, integrating it doesn't have any effect

    They finally acknowledged ProfessionalEducation/N as applicable editions for updates

    for those using EnterpriseGN, it's not supported :p

    On a very serious note - why install edition if it isn't mean for general availability?
