its there any possible in the feature this script extract the Malicious Software Removal Tool and automatically move in C:\Mount\window\system32 folder the MRT.EXE??
cauze doing manually take time ...if you asking if works yeah it works cauze im doing manually and the WU don't ask about Malicious Software Removal Tool ...

 

MRT is not actually an update.

 

So you are doing that just for WU not asking about it? or you actually use that useless tool?

you can get rid of it in WU with registry:

Yes, but you need to replace HKLM\SOFTWARE with HKLM\TK_HKLM_SOFTWARE if you mount registry with MSMG toolkit.

reg add HKLM\TK_HKLM_SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\MRT /v DontOfferThroughWUAU /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

HKLM can also be changed manually when you load the registry hive of the mounted wim.

 

Hi, Enthousiast! You're the best tester. Tell me, please, what settings should I choose in the script W10UI_3.3: set /resetbase and cleanup image to "0" or to "1"?
What settings are optimal?

 

Setting /resetbase to "1" will break the resetpc option, so best to set /resetbase to "0" and cleanup image to "1".
