The script doesn't do anything what you wouldn't be able to do yourself, by typing the commandlines manually in a cmd. It's the options you use what can break ONE thing and that is performing a /resetbase which breaks "ResetPC" on, at least, 15063. So just set the script as i described, here, and it won't break anything.
Regular updates don't have rings you either get them from WU, or they are published to MU catalog only
