It's the installed CU, on my 2016 LTSB the one from august 6. is installed by WU: Code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <unattend xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:unattend"> <servicing> <package action="install"> <assemblyIdentity name="Package_for_RollupFix" version="14393.1593.1.10" language="neutral" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35"/> <source location="%configsetroot%\Windows10.0-KB4034658-x64.CAB" /> </package> </servicing> </unattend>
What is the purpose of posting the winver sshot over and over again? Last night the updates i showed were installed by WU on an unmodified clean installed 2016 LTSB. No more current CU was offered and the update history was clean, but the updates show up in "Installed Updates" section. Atm i am manually installing the latest one on MS Update Catalog: windows10.0-kb4039396-x64_bd1f9e1c7add02b8f3334f1aeaa07cae6632c3cf.msu Code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <unattend xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:unattend"> <servicing> <package action="install"> <assemblyIdentity name="Package_for_RollupFix" version="14393.1670.1.4" language="neutral" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35"/> <source location="%configsetroot%\Windows10.0-KB4039396-x64.CAB" /> </package> </servicing> </unattend>
Instead of posting the winver sshot, a sshot of "installed updates" or "update history" would be more information then only a delta buildnr, that's all i am saying.
Like with the release of 15063.0, when we also had the same issue with the preparation update temp offered on 2016 LTSB, it isn't likely that a new LTSB will appear soon, still expected 2019. RS4 still is a feature update (new builds should never have been called updates because they are full upgrades) of 15063.0 so there most likely won't be a new LTSB.
Yeah my thoughts also ! but they pulled a trick with the 2015 version to the 2016 version so we will see in the future
There has never been a WU upgrade for LTSB available, if they would, we would have had the ESD permalinks
Since 2 months ago when I try the upgrade path from 14393 to 15063 it doesn't show the privacy set up. Strange :/
