I install all updates as fast as I can, and do not have any problems. Sounds like "operator error" to me!
You had the uninstall problem, possibly, after much usual tweaking of your system. It is easy to blame it on Microsoft.
yes i saw the error in event viewer windows service logged.. event logged error shows SHELLHWDetection Service and NETpipe Service Adapter error.
I tend to agree with you! I installed ALL updates coming for 10240 and don't 'play' with any system settings (yet)! Everything is working fine, except the (for me) usual HP WiFi Mobile Mouse which didn't works in any Windows 10 build (till now and maybe never)! That I blame to HP only! The fact is, many users didn't like to 'kept' out of tweaking and if they try, they get 'punished'! And it's easy to blame all times the developer of that OS in use for everything. Just they ignore the fact that near all drivers are developed NOT by the OS Developer instead by the Hardware Developers who build and producing the related hardware. In case of Apple computers such problems are much less for an obvious reason: Apple OS's are bound to a very small range of Hardware, hardly the latest and newest, for which the 3.party Hardware Developers already having worked and tested Unix Driver available because Apples OS are built on Unix! For that the users of Apple Machine have to pay a very high price under the policy that they lose any warranty in case they 'play' (tweak) with the OS'es! In that regard, Apple services are the worst one! That Microsoft is 'locking' their software more and more, may is a result of trying to go the same way as Apple did: keep the user's out of tweaking the MS System. Still, Microsoft leaves a lot of rooms for the users to choose which way they like to go with tweaking: Yes or No! If the user decides's to go the way of tweaking, the user has to accept to get punished. But that didn't includes Driver's because that's out of Microsoft's responsibility and has to be solved by the related Hardware and their Driver Developers. The best way to deal with System Tweaking, use to have 2 similar systems: 1. running standard, NO any tweaking and 2. use for tweaking and testing! Going that way, would solve a lot of problems and also 'teach' the user for to be more careful. It would give the users the choice for to really testing and the conclusion for to take over what's working and worth to use!
If you click on program to uninstall, then click on uninstall from above (NOT right-click) it works fine.
even after releasing it they will not push updates to the public before pushing them for windows insiders
Only problem after this update on my computer is that network card properties don't open. Uninstalling works fine.
No problem here with this update. 2 stationary, 3 laptops. Network card properties work and the such. System feels ever faster, system was really slow them last updates. Way to go MS
Sounds like you got the bad graphic driver, boot times will now be slow. Probably unsupported graphic card
open search/cortana and type: Installed Updates try to uninstall an update and tell us about the results
