@abbodi1406 dropbox changelog shows 4041688 for 14393 but i don't see it in the update list. also, .net 4.7.1 is not there.
Fixed i will wait until they release it through WU maybe they don't intend to support it (like 4.6.2 for 1507/1511)
@abbodi1406 Hey is the list for w10 ok? for 16299 I have x86 files in my x64 folder! Actually, I thing they are the 64bit downloads but the 32bit file names....
Probably already answererd but hard to fin in 238 pages already do some searches no luck so gonna ask for it... i converted ESD -> WIM .. "install.wim" ,,, use W10UI to include CU and Flash and in the end it does not generate the .iso and yes i got oscdimg.exe next to W10UI.cmd so pretty much what im asking is if i should had converted ESD -> ISO and from there mounted or copy contents into forlder and do the preocces.. or it can be done from wim and i just screw something up...
You are mixing two different things. Either you've converted a FULL ESD file to ISO using ESD>ISO v32 or you've converted an install.esd to install.wim using the ESD<>WIM tool. W10UI_3.5 only will create an iso when you've pointed the script to target an extracted iso folder or an iso.
Thanks so it only convert makes updated .iso form extracted iso or .iso, and my wim was created from full esd to install.wim with esd-decrypter-wimlib-32 option 3 on that script i belive, and esd obtained form full esd repository here also the CU and Flash obtained links from the same thread.. *Edited
That doesn't really matter for your question, as long as it is an install.wim, the update script will run ok. For the script to be able to create an updated iso you have to extract the iso and set the script target line to the extracted iso folder, example: Code: rem for updating current os, leave this option as %SystemDrive% set "target=i:\W10UI_3.5\16299.15_Work_en-US_x86" "16299.15_Work_en-US_x86" being the extracted iso folder.
Yes the scritp do work with the wim file, sorry if i dont say that earlier and also if i run again the script it says " that file already has the X,Y updates included." so i know it worked or at least the script tells me soo lol.. My only doubt was why it didnt make the .iso from .wim and u already clarify me that thanks. *Note: already answered this read the 3 last post... And well another question, if i run the script to point my windows install usb pendrive to inlcude updates does they get inlcuded directly into the usb or it creates me an external file or .iso whathever the case, i asked to know if i can just keep updating the files in my sub.. i asume yes just want a confrmation...
I wouldn't advise to target an USB thumbdrive, only if it's a really fast one (fast usb3 drive on usb3 port), but when you set the script to target the install.wim on the usb, it should simply work (never tried it).
Ahh perfect so now i only need to move the wim file i already got to the usb drive and no need to start over nice. thanks soo much @Enthousiast for all the replys.
