Yes the scritp do work with the wim file, sorry if i dont say that earlier and also if i run again the script it says " that file already has the X,Y updates included." so i know it worked or at least the script tells me soo lol.. My only doubt was why it didnt make the .iso from .wim and u already clarify me that thanks. *Note: already answered this read the 3 last post... And well another question, if i run the script to point my windows install usb pendrive to inlcude updates does they get inlcuded directly into the usb or it creates me an external file or .iso whathever the case, i asked to know if i can just keep updating the files in my sub.. i asume yes just want a confrmation...
I wouldn't advise to target an USB thumbdrive, only if it's a really fast one (fast usb3 drive on usb3 port), but when you set the script to target the install.wim on the usb, it should simply work (never tried it).
Ahh perfect so now i only need to move the wim file i already got to the usb drive and no need to start over nice. thanks soo much @Enthousiast for all the replys.
Here are the cabs: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-238#post-1381436 1709 RS3 aka 16299.15 already contains Dotnet4.7.1.
For win10, I'm trying to remove the Security update for Adobe Flash Player KB4038806 [Sep] which has been superseded by kb4049179 [Oct] with DISM, but I get Error: 0x800f0825 which says it is a permanent package. even though kb4049179 is installed. I looked at the .mum for permanence="permanent", but that entry does not exist. Is there a way to remove this superseded KB?
No direct cab links available for now, but you can download and install the language packs from Microsoft Download Center (id=56117). Use 7-Zip to view and get specific cab file, or /x:ndp471 /q (or /u) to extract all files.
After updating to 16299.19 I'm always getting, when booting into safe mode, a window opening and suddenly closing after entering into desktop. On 16299.15 it worked fine so I can't understand why this kernel update messed up a normal behaviour. (sorry for my english)
I find 1709 to be better than 1703 because desktop icons no longer disappear randomly (5 out of 10 reboots) on startup. Better than 1607 because overall colour temperature and gamma seems much better (purer white). However, I find 1511 the best because it allowed me to use list views in libraries and that setting remained. Anyway 1511 is now out because support has ended.
