... In this day and age there is no such thing as a stable update... as previously stated, .. we are all now testers, like it or not.. Depending on your PC hardware, your configuration, tweaks that you have added... you will always run into issues.. and as such Install your OS, do nothing... and only install officially released updates, even so that will not guarantee a system without flaws I have been running Windows OS since 95, and the same complaints keep repeating.. over and over again.. and I MEAN, THE SAME COMPLAINTS ... my eldest brother has been threatening to move to LINUX since then.. and yet he still uses Windows. I Posted this previously... before MDL got hacked.. (To quote Forest Gump) Windows (LIFE) is like a box of chocolates You never know what you are going to get ..enjoy the challenge, enjoy the ride............
I think everyone who uses Windows threatens to move away to some other OS, I do constantly, probably never will much to my chagrin. They do test these updates through channels so major problems should not be getting through to final release. They must be simply ignoring the problems people may or may not report. Typical corporate BS, make the unreasonable deadlines set by the bean counters regardless of anything else.
Can DotNet updatesupd installed without CU? BTW, can update packages be simply converted into full files to replace old ones?
I have a suggestion for the OP for this thread. At the top have "Tools & Helpers" and links to - The latest W10UI - REG file that adds .CAB extension context menu for cab installation - WHDownloader - WUMT Then list the latest updates (ALL for each version of Windows 10 OS): "OS Build x86" - SS - CU - Flash - DotNET/NETFX (if exists) "OS Build x64" - SS - CU - Flash - DotNET/NETFX (if exists) Then, since I can't think of everything everyone else might want, there should probably links to whatever else is being commonly asked. And of course OP must be updated each time a new update comes out.
