I have been trying the fix's in this thread but none of them seem to work for me.

    "2019-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4505903) - Error 0x80073701"

And now same error but with KB4512508

    "2019-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4512508) - Error 0x80073701"

Any ideas if MS plans to release more updates today or next Tuesday?

Microsoft's standard answer is, Updates are released when ready. They do not pre-announce when a release will be.

The ones shown in the quoted post.
    No it's dotnetfx4.8 itself.
It's dotnetfx4.8 so you still would need the latest dotnetcu (but that i still have to confirm by testing).

Short test finished, nothing changed at the 1809 dotnetcu needs:

    Code:
    35 + 472 = kb4506998

    35 + 48 (new) = kb4506990
